Crossroads Announces New Clinical Director, other staff moves

Crossroads for Women Business Announcements
PORTLAND, Maine (October 13, 2009) – Crossroads for Women, which offers Maine’s most comprehensive treatment for substance abuse and mental health specialized for women, recently welcomed two new staff members, promoted one and updated its mission statement.
New Hires
Crossroads for Women recently hired a clinical director and a new outpatient clinician. Shannon Trainor, LCSW, of Sabattus, was hired as clinical director for all of the agency’s outpatient and residential programs. Trainor previously worked at Good Will-Hinckley as director of programs and clinical services. Shelley Walker Rosen, LCPC, LADC, ADTR, of South Portland, re-joined the agency as an outpatient clinician. Rosen works at both the Portland and Kennebunk outpatient offices.
Staff Promotions
Lisa Wishart, of Saco, was promoted to community relations coordinator. Wishart was previously office manager at Crossroads for Women’s Kennebunk Counseling Center.
Updated Mission
Crossroads for Women's Board of Directors recently voted to update the agency's mission statement. The new mission statement better reflects the services that Crossroads for Women delivers to women and their families every day and its focus on both substance abuse and mental health. The new mission is “Crossroads for Women addresses substance abuse and mental health so that women and their families can lead healthy lives.”
